"Great room and service"

"The property is lovely but: 1. Everything was closed at 8 pm. We hiked the trail and showered and went for dinner and got home for a swim or relaxing Turkish bath… closed. 2. Gorgeous breakfast… however we came early to have a simple coffee and light fruit then returned to room to get our luggage ready for transfer. Came back to have a breakfast and an elderly male manager questioned us why we came back if we already had been there. He was terribly offensive. I would never return to this...

"Rustic and quaint 200 year old manor outside the town walls. Short walking distance to the castle. The staff was friendly and my husband and I bonded with the charming cat Nina."

"Très bien"

"A lovely place, with nice pools. Lovely accommodation and breakfast. A 2 km journey in to town"

"I’ve been in the hotel a few times. To me I’m happy to go back again"

"Great stay, staff was friendly, view from dining room for sunset was amazing, food was great! Would stay here again and highly recommend it."

"The location, cleanliness and room was very good. There are a few common spaces which makes it nice if you want to spend time out of your room. Our room was facing the street and the noise from outside was quite loud, especially on the weekend lasting until 4:30 a.m. I suggest earplugs. Otherwise it was great. Two washer and dryers in the kitchen."

"Clean rooms"

"Beautiful property in an excellent location in Marvao! The room was clean, had everything we wanted and needed, and the hotel towels made it seem luxurious! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were super friendly!"

"What a lovely oasis after days on the trail. Staff super helpful and kindly made a breakfast bag for us when we were leaving too early for the set breakfast time. Sweet quiet rural setting. The UBER from town was easy to book but only at the last minute."

"We were a family of 5 and stayed 1 night on our way to Algarve. Cozy hotel and nice town. Recommended!"

"Hotel renovado, ubicación muy buena, zona silenciosa, la cama excelente XL. La habitación un poco pequeña, desayuno bueno y atención buena."

"The place is really nice and clean, with no problems at all. A big plus is that there aren't that many rooms, so the pool and the breakfast restaurant aren't crowdedeveryone has plenty of space."

"Need more room care and cleanliness."

"Refrigerator in room did not work. Power to the room failed the morning of the 2nd day."

"Grand Hotel très défraîchi qui mériterait un grand projet de rénovation. La décoration est minimale et peu inspirante. Les chambres sont correctes sans plus. Les seuls points positifs sont : Amman qui nous a reçu avec beaucoup d'attention et le déjeuner qui est très bien."

"Iedereen was behulpzaam. Ontbijt was goed. Kamer schoon. Alleen telefoon deed het niet om naar de receptie te bellen. Voor de rest prima!"
