"We stayed in a balcony room that, while dated, was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and offered great storage. The effective air conditioning and small fridge were highly appreciated during the hot weather. We did experience two main issues during our stay: poor soundproofing and weak Wi-Fi. The noise from the passing train was noticeable, and an outdoor beach party went on very loudly until 2:00 AM on our first night. Furthermore, the internet connection was unreliable, which we suspect was...
"Clean room, hotel good proximity to beach. Bit of a walk uphill but OK. Staff friendly & breakfast was adequate although they need to amend the charge from advertised $10 euro to $15 euro on their website!!"
"Nice hotel, great views and varied breakfast. Close to Monterosso, but a steep uphill road if you want to walk. They do have a shuttle once an hour to and from Monterosso, which drops you close to the train station. There is a trail right from the hotel to Levanto, with beautiful views. Would stay there again."
"We had a lovely stay in Volastra. The private parking was a huge bonus, especially since parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult to find and expensive. The property is beautifully situated on top of the hill, with a peaceful atmosphere and easy access to the surrounding area.
Antonella was wonderful and so welcoming! She gave us helpful recommendations for walking down to Manarola, including the bus schedule for getting back up the hill and where to buy tickets for less than paying...
"The hotel is conveniently located in Bonassola, just minutes from the station and near the public beach, and includes a great breakfast. The 4th-floor terrace and lounge offer beautiful views and serve as a bar at night and a buffet in the morning. My sea-view room on the 3rd floor had a lovely view. The staff is friendly, and the hotel provides beach towels for guests (which was not specified online).
Great experience and would come back again and again!"
"The owner was very welcoming and shared trips about parking in La Spezia. The breakfast was great. Room was very clean and the property is well maintained."
"At first everything seemed to go extremely well, the staff member came to show us where to park, even helped bring a bag down to the hotel, was super nice and really genuine, thank you leandro.
Then things took a turn, of course traveling in July my main concern when booking places to stay was to have AC in order to sleep well over night. The AC unit in the room is not AC, at best its cool air, when turned on for 12 hours it did bring the room down a couple of degrees, so the first night we...
