"From as soon as we arrived I was in heaven. Beautiful fall getaway it was for my husband and I. I loved the amenities including pool, jacuzzi, fireplaces, fire pit and smores provided. We ate right on the property and enjoyed every minute. We drove 1 hour into Lake placid everyday and hiked Mt. Jo and visited Whiteface mountain. We will be back!"
"It was clean and the staff were great. Close to main street. Disappointing was room was not cleaned when asked to be put on list. No extra toilet paper so we ran out. Don't expect breakfast though they did have a coffee bar for an extra charge."
"Appreciated the pet policy, enjoyed the spacious room, jet tub, and fireplace. Balcony oversees the parking lot, town amenities are limited, and over an hour drive to the high peaks we did. If we don't stay here again, it'll be due to location convenience, not the lodge."
"The location was perfect. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The lake was right across the street. However, was surprised that the room didn't have a microwave and the mini fridge wasn't always working. The hotel was extremely accommodating and very pet friendly. Would definitely stay again."
"Super nice apartment style room with a nice sitting/eating area and a fully furnished kitchen. Bathroom shower was outstanding! Great little weekend gem."
"When we arrived it looked deserted. Went to check in and luckily the girl that managed it 4 years popped out. She explained what transpired since we were there last and how it’s undergoing a new transformation and maybe a name change. She’s very welcoming and remembered us instantly. So it’s a new work in progress. It may not be the 100% now but it will be. They’re starting over from scratch. I love this little hideaway and will probably go back."
"When I booked I thought that the lit up main office was the cabin... A lil bit tricky... Maybe on me for not reading fine print....
The owner and manager were very helpful and welcoming.. Thought I rented a 2BR but it was 1BR with 2 beds..."
