"Comfortable stay deep in the mountains with stunning views and pleasing decor, except for the insects that bothered just one of us at night The apartment had 3 levels with the steep stairs to the bathroom below, it took time to get used to it. The road close to the location is narrow, curvy and challenging but worth the drive. The host did not speak English. The kitchen had everything we needed except for the lid for the kettle. We appreciate that place like that existed deep in nature."
"The owners are great. The property is not. The place is cold for winter, the thermostat is locked, but if you call the owners they will adjust it up some. The place has a smell. It is like a wet dog or mold. The bed is hard, the pillows are flat, and the sheets are thin. "This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."
