"Nice warm greeting from the staff. I thought the bed was very nice and very well made up. Most of the fittings and fixtures in the room were damaged, but when I shop around by price I don't mind anyway; I just want a clean bed, secure door and private bathroom and it ticked all the boxes. The shower floor floods a bit because the drain is ~2mm proud of the floor. The tea and coffee tray is a nice touch but there was no milk jugs or coffee-mate which meant we didn't want a cup in the...

"Property is not well maintained. Beds are in very poor condition .Lots of stains on the side of bed .Carpet is dirty .Tiolet was not clean properly .only one tiolet roll available even didnt ask for after .Family of four and one tiolet roll .Bed sheets very thin and old but smell fresh .Most disappointed is kettle very bad rusty from inside and cups are same stains inside.i didn't use even how can someone make tea in this kettle ,atleast kettle and cups should be clean these are basic hygiene...

"The breakfast was excellent and the activities for up to 12,s was excellent. The bar an coffee bar was excellent. The only thing that let it down the cleaning it was not quiet up to my standards,a bit dusty in the corridors an the games room. But over all we had a brilliant few days."

"Did it exactly what was required - bed for the night, shower , toilet, tv and excellent breakfast served up by a very friendly and welcoming landlady. Would thoroughly recommend"

"Breakfast was very good. Room a bit small and no drawers to put any thing. Staffs are good. The only problem is they didn't make up my room even though I put up the sign."

"A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent."

"Did not actually stay here but transferred to property across the road. Room key did not work. T.V. and WIFI did not work , no hot water in shared shower, however although advertised as private bathroom. Tea making facilities advertised but no milk, no plug in sink, not able to close window. Seemed to be largely used as a DHSS type accommodation property - less than budget hotel and left after mutual agreement the following morning after evening arrival. Should not be advertised as holiday...
