The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel."

The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. "This hotel was not in Expedia as per this property manager when we tried to checkin. I have not got refund yet. Please don’t book here and this hotel says that they don’t have any booking through Expedia. Expedia still researching for resolution. "
