"We loved our experience! The family that runs the property is so kind and so helpful. The meals they prepared were wonderful. The views from the rooms were great and even though it got cold at night, the beds had plenty of blankets and there was a portable gas heater in the room so we slept very comfortably. If you want a true Lake Titikaka experience, I highly recommend this resort/lodging experience."
"This was by far the best place we stayed at during our 3week visit to Peru. The rooms are well presented and clean. There is continuous hot water in the showers.
The service by the hotel staff was by far the best we saw in all of our trip.
The hotel is an easy 7min walk from the Main Square. It is away from all the noise!

"The location of the room was perfect, slightly separate from a lot of the other floating islands and so it felt more secluded. It was amazing waking up to the beautiful view in the morning.
We went with the owner, Nestor, on a trip which was far better than the other organised tours. Nestor was friendly and talked us through everything to with the islands, the culture and the tourism. "

This was the worst experience of my life.
The hosts are professional liars, unreasonable, and have zero hospitality.
They show no remorse and have no intention of improving.
Stranded in the Cold: We agreed to meet at 15:55 at the port because I had no internet.
I arrived at 14:30 to be safe, but they never showed up.
I waited in the freezing cold for over 2.5 hours.
They sent a message saying "Contact us when you arrive"—a complete insult...
"We had a one-night stay here at the end of our trip, and were welcomed by the kindest, most helpful staff, and a clean, comfortable room! The neighbourhood might not look like much, but is actually close to Puno’s two main squares, with great bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here."
"Uros lake will be more beautiful that it is, if the community takes care of the lake. Under the houses/cabin, and in the water you could see garbages, many plastic bottles or plastic bags. Unfortunately the main care of the community is get money (to feed their family and improve the schools and communityaround there but they are not doing that). They know that for the tourists is going to pay for the tours and what ever souvenirs thay are selling, and thy are getting more expensive. The cabin...

"The visit here was so relaxing. It was quiet and just being on the water was refreshing. Felix is a wonderful host. He kindly took us around the area, pointing out places and discussing history and culture with us. We learned a lot. He also showed us an amazing collection of reed birds and gave us a really informative lesson in nature."
