"冷房の効きは良かったです。"

"This place has a lot of character and was a great experience. We didn’t book the Irori dinner, which I regretted very much. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, so as expected it was a bit spartan. However, the main sitting area was lovely and interesting and the staff were top notch - warm and accommodating. If you are looking for character and tradition over modern comforts, you will enjoy your stay very much. It’s also just a short walk to Gora station where you can hop on the cable car and ropeway as...

"The room itself was clean (although a bit old - like the closet we weren’t really able to use). The bathroom was THE highlight. I wasn’t able to experience the onsen, but it looked great and they had a nice system to ensure patrons are comfortable (men attendance vs women). Not really an issue related to the hostel itself, but the one time I tried to check out the outdoor onsen at night, I think patrons had locked it so I wasn’t able to actually get in… It is a bit of a walk /hike from the main...

"Great rural place!"

"Sie ist super eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich man hat alles was man braucht. Man kann alles was fehlt entweder aus dem Snack and Laundry wagen holen (kostenfrei) oder paar Meter weiter aus dem Supermarkt bzw. Seven Eleven. Das gotemba Outlet ist auch nur paar Minuten mit dem Taxi entfernt! Sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend alles lief reibungslos. Wir kommen 100% wieder"

"No elevator, carrying luggages to 3rd floor with no staff to help was hard. Location is excellent 2 min from Gora station and cable car to major attraction in Hakone is a plus. Any food or bus stops are 12-14 min walk but the only way is through a very hard long stairs."

"The manager very helpful. The room and the Onsen nice. Just missing some towel hooks in the bathroom and bedroom."

"Beautiful and funky property. The shared spaces were very nicely appointed with a room full of records and artsy books. Loved the indoor and outdoor onsens here as well. The tatami mats and floor seats were a unique experience as well. The only small negative is that it is a little off the beaten path but even with that point & that it was raining, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend."

"Clean, spacious, free bar, helpful staff and the pickup and dropping off at the station. The information about the pick up was not clear in their email and we hsppenef to go to the information center near the station and the kind lady their called the hotel for us. The private mineral bath felt like s hot tub."
