"I liked staying at the Redwood Lodge. On my second overnight trip, I had to lodge elsewhere as the price was getting unaffordable for the working man. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. My biggest problem was I was assigned the only room in the building that did not have a number on the door. I had to look at all the surrounding doors to rule out that the door with no number was my room number. In the morning, the clerk showed me the room number, it had been found on the ground of the hallway...

"Never replaced towels daily. Doesn’t offer toothbrush or toothpaste.Rooms are dingy and old. Breakfast is ok. Pool facilities are ok. Management is nonchalant but one desk attendant was really nice . A young black guy. Would never stay at this hotel again. Only booked because of the shuttle bus to the hospital. Don’t book because if the price . Spend that extra $20 and go somewhere better. Thank me later"

"King bed room was clean and bed was comfortable. The lobby was clean although the hallways smelled a bit of weed, but thankfully the room didn’t. The breakfast was as expected for the hotel chain, a bottle of water in the vending machine was only $1. Not a luxurious place but for the price in Winona it was good. I would recommend if you just need a clean decent room."
