"Took us a minute to find where to check in, but the staff was great once we found them. Only issue with the room is the soap is a generic liquid soap in a wall dispenser, but there were no washcloths. We went to be close to the stadium - it is not convenient to the Medieval center of Ghent. That area is also very industrial and we could smell fumes from the chemical plant as we walked (did NOT smell in the room). Was a great, economic place to drop and go for a football game, but would not base...
"This hotel is an excellent stopover when driving from the UK to the Netherlands. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the DIY waffle maker was a massive hit with the kids! Overall, it made for a super easy, comfortable, and enjoyable break in our journey. Would definitely stay here again for a hassle-free road trip stop!"
"We took one of the attic rooms which has a lovely vibe (we just had overnight bags so the stairs were no problem). The room was clean and the bed comfortable - we had a great night's sleep. The area around is good and just a short walk along the river to the centre. We parked nearby at St Michael's which was 31eur per 24h (10/2026)."
"Great location, quaint property, unfortunately no air conditioning, the fan was helpful but didn’t cool room down. Lots of stairs so keeps you fit. Staff not around after 5pm til next morning, but no problems with self check in.
We parked at suggested free parking (5 mins away)"
"Chambre et petits déjeuner compris pour un prix correct. Accueil agréable et le personnel est serviable.
La chambre sentait le propre et les lits étaient impeccables.
Manque peut-être juste un peu de modernité mais ceci n'est pas un reproche.
Merci."
"Chambre propre, fonctionnelle et agréable. Emplacement parfait au cœur de tout à pied. Equipe agréable. J'ai trouvé les oreillers encore plus confortables que lors de mes précédents séjours."
"DO NOT STAY HERE - COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING!
The "Deluxe" Double Room does not have its own bathroom - this fact is not shown in the headline and is buried in the listing.
I arrived at 9 pm to a dark house and was shown a room without a bathroom. I asked where it was and was told it was in the hall and was shared with another room. I was shocked but the woman showing me the room told me that the other room was not taken. I figured it was not that bad and acquiesced. However, at one in the...
"Perfect for what we needed whilst we enjoyed beautiful Bruges and the beers! We were met upon arrival and given our key for the room, a number to call if anything was needed and the option to eat next door at the family restaurant if we wanted. We spent most of our time out and about and had our hotel room to shower and sleep in. Thank you. "
