"The owner/manager was very polite and helpful. He found for us good room the same day, because we had to resign from Waman Hotel in Aguas Calientes (rooms for the price they asked were terrible). Staying two days in Viandina MachuPicchu we are giving FIVE Stars for the room, the stuff and total service."
"We had challenge finding the entrance. We were wandering around and to our surprise, it was right in front of us already. the ground floor is a coffee shop. we were looking for a lighted signage but there was only a tin man holding a shield facing backwards when people are going up. When checked in, there were still underwear from the previous guest that they didn’t see when cleaning. The bathroom is small. So, if you are a big man, the bathroon is not for you. Despite the flaws, it is fairly a...
"Pros:
- Very kind staff, they really seemed to care about their clients.
- 24/7 check in and services including WhatsApp communication in need of assistance.
- I mentionned to the staff what I had difficulties with (see cons about humidity) but they informed me that there wasn't much they could do to help and couldn't accommodate me with another room at that time. They did clean the room however which was appreciated even though it didn't feel dirty.
- Staying over at this hostel is actually...
"The breakfast couldn't be much better. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was right by the bus station to go to Machu Picchu. The markets were very close. It was a 20 minute walk the hot baths and a 30 minute walk to the Manuel Chavez Ballon museum which was very interesting. The only issue was the noise from the street and from 5th floor dining area as our room was on the fourth floor.
Recommend ear plugs."
"O quarto é simples, mas tem muito barulho que vem da praça em frente, começaram a tocar música meia noite. Havia água quente para o banho, mas a privada não funcionava. Apesar de parecer limpo, algo no quarto me deu alergia, ao deitar na cama comecei a coçar. Então se for sensível ao barulho e tiver rinite ou akergias melhor escolher outro lugar. Tive que abrir a janela do banheiro pro ar circular e conseguir dormir um pouco, porém estava muito frio."
"This is a hostal. Full stop. They even have sign in front saying that! It's just not a hotel, and Expedia shouldn't be listing it regardless. I'll start by saying the girl at the front desk was lovely. Very sweet. It her fault. But the room? No hot water! No warm water No flushing. Toilet paper in the bin. Sorry but I refuse. It is very close to the actual hot springs so there's that. River view consists of a cluster of storage shacks on the other side. It's directly below so you can't really...
"Wifi kept getting stolen or taken away, we asked for the TV remote and received it without batteries, no bathroom amenities like towels and toilet paper, nothing was prepared so we had to keep asking for these things."
