"The Hotel Santa Croce is owned and managed by two brothers Gabriel and Mario who are lovely and treat you like family. It was our second stay and we cant wait to return. Go to the restaurants they recommend!! We stayed in the studio off the main property and it felt like home - like we were truly Florentines. The hotel is located steps from the church of the same name where Galileo, Michelangelo, and Fermi, are laid to rest. Tour it! Gorgeous. Although its a very busy bustling neighborhood, we...

"Perfect location, very friendly staff. Everything’s super walkable."

"Hotel was great 20 minute walk to major sites. Parking was great and easy !"

"This hotel has a great location. The property is tired though. The bed was two twin beds pushed together, the shower door didn't close, and you had to play around with the key to open the door. After reporting the shower door problem, they did not fix it. They offer a breakfast for 30E each obviously so that no one will get it."

"Staff was friendly. They have room cleaning everyday"

"Piccolo Hotel has a great location, all Florence's main attractions are just a short walk away. Room was decent, with very clean bedding. Overall, our expectations were met and Piccolo Hotel can be recommended, especially to those emphasising good location over room amenities. We cannot comment on breakfast, since we did not use it. Perhaps the owner should improve communication with customers: our two messages sent to the hotel went unanswered. That was our only objection."

"Unclean Rooms & Poor Maintenance. Overpriced, dirty, and poorly maintained. My stay at Hotel Berna was a complete disappointment. The room was far below standard, they come to clean the every days but, not clean the bathroom or shower, only make up the bed and change the towel, bathroom was dirty / the sheets were stained never changed. The coffee cup not changed even we told staff the front desk. On top of that, shower room too small not look like the picture on the website. For the price...

"The hotel's location, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, everything was impeccable"

"Elevated never worked the whole time of the stay."

"The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Not a new shiny place but very real and authentic. Would recommend."

"This hotel is very old. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. The room was old a dingy, did not feel clean. The bathroom was dirty and the shower drain was plugged. The air conditioner was not working and the wifi did not work during our stay. The only good thing about this hotel is location. Not worth the money we paid."
