"The room was nice. Due to Covid restrictions, we didn’t see a single member of staff apart from the man in the bar, which wasn’t the kind of hotel bar I expected. No real ale (“because it wasn’t worth doing” according to the barman). No coffee either. We went to our room via a side door, so we didn’t even see the hotel facilities. The central heating was controlled only by the owner, remotely via an app, so we had no way of turning on, off or up the radiators.
