"I booked this room for one night with my two young children to attend a sporting event nearby. The hotel is situated very near to the railway station and above a very noisy pub. The room itself is very basic which was fine for our one night stay and we appreciate there is little to be done about the outside noise however the window was broken we had to wedge it shut, this didnt help with the noise volume. "Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. Had booked a room with a double bed. It was small - more three quarters size. Room was also small and the bathroom was tiny. Noise from other rooms adjacent (light switches being turned on) was more than you would expect, and when taps were run or toilets flushed in adjacent rooms it was very loud. Cooked breakfast was below par - ingredients seemed to be basic/cheap. Car parking is tight and easy for your car to be blocked in. No water supplied to...

"I bought this overnight stay on the understanding there would be parking available as stated on your website , however i was then told there was no parking on site and i had to park half a mile away and walk in torrential rain . The room itself was up three flights of narrow badly lit stairs , the room was in a filthy disgusting state it clearly hadnt been cleaned properly for months, tatty furniture, dust and dirt everywhere. "When i arrived i was sent the code to the key safe to get the keys. When I opened it there was no key in the safe. Having phoned the contact number and cutting a long story short a member of staff had gone off with the keys in his pocket. Also there was no shower gel in the shower. The kitchen is communal and the walls are not thick and I was awaken by the sound of cups being knocked together at approximately 6 am."
