"We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Pigal in central Tarragona, Spain. The location is excellent—within a reasonable walking distance of the Roman amphitheater, the port, the old town, the central market, and plenty of restaurants.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality from Charlie, the hotel owner/manager. He was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. When we arrived, he immediately took the time to personally show us where to park, which was especially...
"If you are used to staying in a newer, American hotel, this may be quite an adjustment for you. For a small boutique neighborhood, European Hotel it is quite charming. The owners are delightful and cannot do enough for you. That being said:MR Hotel, is not as bight and shining as her photos show. The hotel hasn’t had much upkeep to keep her looking like she used to.
The beds are very very firm; to firm for my friends. And this is the other unfortunate part the bedding and the pillows smell...
"I am happy. I was there in this hotel for the second time. I had what I expected. Single room with shower. Nothing special but for this price. OK. Shower is really small, but I am not a big guy. So I do not recommend this hotel for bigger size people... :-) Room is simple but clean. Cleaning service is every day and I even asked the cleaning lady that they do not need to clean it every day. I was not in the hotel anyway. I just slept there. I did not go for holiday to spend my time in the...
"Review DetailsRating: 4/5 stars Great location and value, but expect small roomsProsLocation: The hotel sits in an excellent spot in Tarragona. You can easily walk to local sights, shops, and restaurants.Value: This is a budget-friendly choice. You get what you pay for, and the fair price matches the experience.Check-in: The self check-in system is very fast and easy to use.ConsRoom Size: The rooms are quite small. Keep this in mind if you travel with large bags or need extra space."
"Gracias a Dios tuve una Estancia tranquila 😊😊💛, me he quedado dos noches en habitación individual y fue tranquilo, había una persona que me recibió al ingreso, el personal de limpieza servicial, creo que es relación precio servicio. Lo único es que el baño es extremadamente pequeño. Por lo demás estuvo bien."
"Bien situé dommage que le parking soit plein à cette saison et l’équipement de la maison est un peu vieux
Pour le reste rien à redire superbe séjour et j’y reviendrais volontiers"
"Everything was very good but the staff need some training they need to smile and appreciate the customer more. Also I asked them to call me a taxi only to be waiting 25 minutes and no taxi came I think the lady did not even phone the taxi for me. Also I want to mention the guy working in the bar near the swimming pool was super kind and smiles that how it should be done thank you gentleman."
