"When we arrived there was no towels , we tried to call twice but no answer , I asked a member of staff who was picking there feet at the door and sent through to the kitchen whilst they just continued rabbiting on the phone. I was given a manky well used stained towel when I asked for two , I was told there was only one clean towel. The bedding in the room was creased and thrown on. "There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."
