"Excellent accommodations with a great breakfast."

"This place was extremely dirty and run down. The carpets had stains throughout the property, the lobby furniture looked filthy, and even the elevator carpet was stained and unclean. As soon as we walked into our room, we noticed the toilet seat was broken. We immediately informed the front desk and let them know we would be out for a couple of hours so it could be fixed while we were gone. When we returned, the toilet seat still had not been repaired. "The pictures look nothing like how the room actually looked and they had breakfast, but it was cereal, milk, muffins, and toast. And when I got the room, it was damages already done to the room. I reported them to the front desk. I’m not saying anything supposed to be perfect, but just make sure everything is up to their standards. "

"We have stayed at the Chalet Motel numerous times, however have not been there the past two. We were very happy to see all the work they have done on this property, both outside and inside. The rooms always were nice, but they have updated everything. Very nice and friendly staff. We will continue to stay when we are in Mequon, Wisconsin."
