"The Retro Inn was a fun experience! We stayed in the Woodstock room with the waterbeds. While not all that comfortable for the adults (I don’t know why those things were ever popular), the kids LOVED the experience. The themed room was fun and authentic with lava lamps and black light la and glowing art. The room was very clean and spacious. If you are ever driving through Cortez, I would definitely recommend The Retro Inn. Also, eat at nearby La Casita de Cortez. "

"For the price you really can't beat what this place has to offer. Location is perfect, the fact you get a full room and breakfast and parking in front of rooms is great. Fridge in my room hummed loudly at night so bring ear plugs. Staff was super nice - for drive through trips you can't beat this price."
