"smells a bit weird in the room but has a great view and amazing location, nice staff, super fast wifi."

"We chose this property for it's location and it was perfect for being in the heart of the old city and close to what we wanted to do / see for our short stay in Funchal. We arrived on a late flight and reached the hotel about 1am (took the Aerobus for 5e it worked great). The man at the hotel reception was wonderful - kind and generous. The room was clean and basic. It's recently renovated / updated. Our only complaint is the area has several Poncha bars and it appears they are open all...

"The place was maintained with daily cleaning of the bathrooms and kitchen. A clean bathroom was my main priority and it was met. The place has no air-conditioning, fans or outside umbrellas on the beautiful grounds. The pictures show outside umbrella, but it was broken. Accommodation was good, for a family we were very comfortable, did not do any cooking, just used the fridge, kettle and toaster, and the 1 pedestal fan was very useful and necessary too. "

"The premises were clean, in good condition and well equipped. The location was good for us, the main road was easily accessible. The road however causes noise which can be disturbing at times."

"Our stay at Xavelha Clifftop by Atlantic Holiday was nothing short of spectacular, offering a coastal experience that truly exceeded our expectations. The apartment’s standout feature is the unrivaled sea view—unlike most rentals, the Atlantic is the star of the show and is visible from every single room. We loved the genius layout, specifically the super-large terrace that connects all the rooms, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. The interior...
