"For a self-catering hotel, this place exceeded all our expectations. It's clean, quiet, well-maintained, and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The owners seem to go out of their way to make things work well and take great pride in their business. The whole self-check in was also straightforward and easy and all the answers to your questions are provided in a convenient booklet you receive upon arrival. For what we paid (by Iceland standards) we received excellent value, overall. Highly recommended."

"An interesting hotel. No reception, it’s all done remotely. We were able to access the room early. Kitchen facilities are available, with a fridge, stove, and kettle. I forget if there was a microwave. The room was cold and I raised the temp."
