Swimming with whale sharks in #Gorontalo was one of the most thrilling and amazing thing I've done in life.
These majestic gentle giants passed by nearby ocean as part of their migration route. The young whale sharks often swam near the shore near the fisherman villages to eat fish or shrimp scraps that are thrown by the local fishermen into the ocean

For a small fee local fishermen are willing to take you to meet these gentle giants with their and if you are brave enough you can even try going into the water to swim and take picture with them.
Just remember to avoid touching them if you can since they are still technically wild life and can easily get stressed from human interaction :)
