"1 star — Repeated hotel moves, electrical problems, and awful customer service
My experience with Gaia Pyramids Hotel was extremely disappointing. We were moved three times during our stay, and the customer service was awful.
When they sent us to another hotel, the staff had no idea we were coming. They were confused and completely unprepared for us. There was clearly no coordination between the properties.

"Best location, as close to the pyramids as you can get. The room was perfect and with the best ever breakfast included. Dina helped us a lot with useful tips and made us feel at home. Thanks to Dina and the rest of the staff!"
"I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Its location is excellent, for me, it is clean with nice furniture.
However, the check-out procedure is strange , the keep guests waiting until some one goes up to check the room and gives clearance to to the receptionist to release the guest with a written paper to the security at the exit door !!!"

"Charged 15dollar for shuttle even it's advertised free but said only free for min for 3nights stay.
Also he refused to provide us with dinner even when paid for it.

The whole place near stable not safe and not sign or reception
I would recommend this place and hope Expedia will stop dealing with very poor host.

"AS CLOSE TO THE PYRAMIDS AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET, SECONDS AWAY FROM THE ENTRY GATE. It’s everything you need for your stay in Egypt to feel at home safe and yet still amongst the locals. Staff was polite, kind very friendly and willing to help with all needs and suggestions rooftop has an amazing view of the pyramids and the sphinx. Would recommend only about 40 mins from airport. "Kush Hotel is a small (family-owned) hotel in a a renovated multi-story building. The interior is new and everything is clean. The staff are friendly. The building is located near the New Cairo Museum. The only concern I had was the location. Hotel is located in a small low-income neighborhood that is surrounded by intersecting highways in all directions. You can see the beautiful new museum from your room window but there is no way that you can walk to it. You have to take a taxi or Uber....
