"Very convenient location, friendly staff, and fantastic beer and pizzas! However, the room was very minimal, had a musty smell, and it was also very loud. Because of the room condition and the noise, I probably would not book this again."

"This bed and breakfast is an absolute hidden gem. The room was beautifully presented with cute armchairs, good storage and comfortable beds. Helen was amazing - she provided tea and coffee in the room, her breakfast was absolutely divine and extremely well organised, and the location was within walking distance to the beach and the main town. A really exceptional option for anyone visiting Inverness, Culloden or the Clava Cairns."

"The bedroom was clean and toilet were clean.
In terms of comfort there was no mattress protector on the bed and a pretty thin sheet on top of the mattress. Therefore pretty basic and uncomfortable bed.
There was one bath towel and a mat.
No toiletries or hairdryer.
The kitchen was a bonus. However the bin was full and some other residents left dirty plates in the sink,

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."
