"The hotel has an amazing location - very close to the beach, wonderful restaurants, and walking to downtown Hanga Roa. We appreciated the space -- two bedrooms and a kitchen area. They also had a back area with a hanging rack that was ideal of swimsuits and towels.
One issue - bring earplugs as there are a lot of local roosters and dogs - and they don't only crow and bark in the day. I think, though, this is an issue for most places you would stay in Hanga Roa - not just this hotel."
"Maria was a great host from picking up from the airport thru to dropping off again.
The Cabanas are a little way out of town but solved by renting a car thru them once we had checked in."
"J’ai passé un très bon séjour à Cabanas manito. Les hôtes sont très avenant, ils n’hésitent pas à rendre service quand on en a besoin. Très agréable, et le logement se trouve dans un parc magnifique, bananiers avocatiers manguiers, tous les jours j’avais des avocats frais et gratuits.
J’y retournerai sans hésiter"
"Room was exactly how it was depicted. Super clean and modern for the island. It is quiet and secluded which is what I value. My host Lani greeted me and was extremely responsive to my texts when I had questions. I am planning to return to Rapa Nui and this is the only place I’d stay."
"The room had everything I needed - a coffee station, a fridge, a very nice bathroom and a fan. The room was cleaned every day. The staff are just the two owners a mother and son duo that helped me sort out everything on the island from transportation to tours and more all to my request. The only downside about this stay is the distance from the center of town but if you rent a car as most of the visitors do in the island it's irrelevant."
"For those looking for simple, affordable place with nice, helpful staff at a good value, this is a good place to stay. There is only WiFi in the lobby, and not great even then (very slow). Pool is a nice amenity. In sum, good value hotel."
