"When needing a stayover near Brussels yet not in the centre (which is a car-nightmare) or in general near the airport, this place is a good find. Zaventem the town, or Stockel area in Brussels are nearby enough for transport switches. The rooms are dark but ok. Cleaning could really be better around the facility. The internal space of the rooms are ok, but the entrance (double door) to the rooms can be quite dirty. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"The sheets were clean, and the hotel location is excellent.
However the hotel is unstaffed but it is not set up for self check in.i had to notice someone remotely typing on the computer behind the reception desk to get any idea of how to get in. They could have messaged but didn’t bother. I notice other reviews have said similar.
The carpets are dirty and the rooms obviously haven’t been refurbished for decades.
Avoid"
"Arrive at 1700 to Check In Room was not ready 5 minutes they said. After 4 time 5 minutes the room was finally ready.(20 minutes hanging around after a long day cycling)

"Great stay in a good location in Mechelen, easy walk into the centre or to the main station. The managers were very kind and the breakfast was great as well with fresh bread and fruit."
