"Room adequate though mystified why no plug for kettle unless it was on the floor! Our evening meal was very nice. Sadly breakfast was not. Dreadfully short staffed. Lady cooking was apparently also the only staff available to pay. We waited an hour after ordering , poached eggs were hard and cold on cold toast. Had to keep asking for toast for marmalade . No water in coffee machine and young very pleasant waitress was unsure how it worked. The coffee wasn’t nice either. 2 customers walked out...
"This place is just a notch above a hostel. Only difference is you have a private room and bathroom. One key per room, no matter how many people are in the room. Refrigerator is located in the management office which is locked up most of the evening. Microwave is in a bottom floor lounge that is locked clearly evening and not unlocked until 10am. TV in rooms only work for streaming if you have an account with the streaming service. No elevator/lift at all.

We stayed in 4C. The room was tiny. The table and chairs were too small and unsteady to use. The bathroom was cramped. There is no staff present. The narrow, winding staircase made it hard to bring luggage up to our fourth-floor room. Street noise from the bars on the street below was annoying. The unscreened windows were open when we arrived.
There is a communal kitchen, very modestly equipped.

"The drive in is gorgeous. Arriving in Glenelg, the location is remote, but very much worth the drive. Rebecca and Ian were superb hosts. The rooms were modern, clean and well appointed. The kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was amazing, but not so much as the view from the door. We've been to 19 countries on 4 continents and rarely had such an exceptional view. We will definitely add another stay here on any future trips to Scotland."
"Wonderful spot, especially with kids, as the common space has a slide, pirate ship climber, farm animals to see (goats, chickens, ponies) and grass to run on. The glamping cabins were quite clean and "cozy", as you'd expect, but we fit 3 adults and 3 kids in there. We were able to buy some firewood for a cooking fire. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to get a bit of a camping experience. Owners were very friendly as well, and generally available as needed."
