"Super historic house turned hotel. Parking was very easy and it was also easy to get in and out of the city to the hotel. Front desk staff was super helpful at check in. Would recommend."

"The location is perfect for a great view of Porto with all amenities close by. The property is a vintage hotel look but could use some updating in rooms with some fresh carpeting and maybe some repairs to some of the walls. Overall very clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast views were beautiful. Could use an updated coffee machine at breakfast time."

"My stay at Hotel Vice Rei was wonderful! If you are good on foot, everything is within a walkable distance. Walking to Rua da Cedofeita and Rua do Rosário takes around 15–20 minutes (10–15 if you're a quick walker like me). Just like other reviewers said, the hotel is a bit outdated, but that doesn't take away from its charm; it brings a warm, cozy vibe. Just be mindful of a bit of noise from the pipes/toilets. I didn't get breakfast at the hotel since I hadn't included it in my booking,...

"The place has a great location, is near so many attraction places to visit, restaurants, and the area is safe. The apartment is super clean, has a nice room, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. Everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The breakfast ❤️."

"The room and the bed are small. Think dorm room. No decoration and not much room to put anything. Just a little capsule. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. It is in a good downtown location. No amenities as far as I could tell. There was a good breakfast."

"Andrea, Monica and Retna are the best! Andrea translated and made an appointment for me.The staff made my stay a wonderful experience! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and so helpful. Their kindness and willingness to assist made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. Thank you to the entire team for your exceptional hospitality. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed at Ibis Porto São João for two nights and found the location very convenient, with Uber making it easy to get around. The room was simple but very clean and had what we needed for a short stay. The garage was also easy to access. The best feature was the small mall underneath the hotel, accessible directly by a connecting staircase. It had several places to eat and a laundromat, which was especially handy during our trip. Breakfast was okay."

"It was very central in the city and easy to find with comfy beds."

"Very central. Metro just outside. Easy to get to from airport. Private rooms on their own floor. Private rooms are big but I would say stairway to bed platform might be hard for 60+. Although shared showers and toilets, they were spotless and didn't see anyone else in them. Lots of cameras make it feel secure but luggage storage is not in a dedicated room, lock up or box (just put under the fussball table). Light sensors in the corridors didn't react when coming out of room and had to walk to...
