The food is excellent as well, although it’s worth noting that both the dinner and breakfast are very generous meals - best not to eat too much beforehand! "This is a truly unique hotel, transformed from an old house and surrounded by various shops that add to the street’s historic charm. We stayed on the ground floor and had a wonderful experience—a spacious bedroom facing a small, traditional courtyard, with convenient hotel facilities nearby. One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus.
