Excellent quiet well maintained and managed motel in Yamba - rooms have a great aspect on the pool which gives those specific rooms a real holiday vibe. I’ve stayed here four times and I’ve always found this motel really well priced, whichever season (high, medium or low).

I spent the night of may 31 at this motel it was so quiet I am going to stay June 15 and 16th. The prices for a night are excellent and they have plenty of parking.

The room and bathroom were updated very nicely. Had all the basics but it was hard to fill the kettle in the bathroom sink. There was a coffee table and 2 chairs but would have been nicer to have a higher table. Unfortunately no balcony or outdoor space for our room. There was a bar fridge but very small and only had a tiny freezer. As we were travelling , we had a cooler bag and ice bricks but couldn’t freeze them so were unable to keep anything cold the next day. Parking was quite tight. Overall was pretty good for an overnight stay.

Yamba Sun Motel was such a great place to stay for our couple of nights in Yamba!! Rob was so helpful and so lovely! The rooms are beautifully presented with everything you need to make your family stay comfortable and more affordable with the inclusion of plates, cutlery, glassware, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave! The bbq area is covered and has everything you need too which was great. The pool is lovely and our girls enjoyed some down time swimming while we were there too. Location is excellent too! The bowling club is across the road and it has a great kids entertainment area including bowling and a climbing wall. There’s a pedestrian / bike path adjacent to the motel and we rode our bikes the few minutes along the river to the break wall and town centre. We even seen dolphins and kangaroos while we were there! Overall we’ve been to Yamba twice now and would definitely stay at Yamba Sun again next time we visit! Thanks Rob!

The place was great but the mini fridge really needs refitting. We needed to store some veggies and some frozen food but the vegetable crisper bin was missing and the freezer section had no door to seal it. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and the staff very helpful.

The room is tastefully renovated. I like the large walk-in shower area. It is located next to the river, so you can go for a nice evening walk, weather permitting.
