"Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. Parking can be a problem but usually can park in town square (which you need to pay for, either in cash/card or by downloading the local app). Place fairly clean, tables for breakfast...

"While we had a pleasant stay and the staff was very nice and helpful, the property needs some modernising. For instance, the window of our room didn't quite stay open which made it very hot and stuffy in this hot weather"

"Great landlady, very nice and helpful !!! Nice establishment !! Bedroom great and bed super comfortable !! The toilet needed taking out and replacing, it was in a slant and the joists underneath had gone. Everything else was great apart from the toilet !!!"

"Quirky old accommodation lovely staff fab evening food, ok continental breakfast...great vibe in the pub lovely and friendly people. Room was comfy, did need some attention to cleanliness, but saying that the bed was spotless and very comfy...bathroom small but well equipped."

"On arrival at Reception after long journeys on an extremely hot day we were told that the Bar wasn't open, although advertised as open all day, and as our rooms were not available for 15-minutes there was no access to tea, coffee or cold drink. We were directed to a local pub instead! This was a very bad start. We had booked a table for 6 at 7.30pm in the dining room but hadn't been informed that there was a large screen tv by our table and a raucous crowd surrounded us watching the football....
