"The room was very comfortable and clean. The patio area had a wonderful view of the ocean and foliage. It was a nice quiet setting after a long day of exploring the island. I will definitely be back on my next visit to the island."

"Welcome letter needs to be updated. There was no room with a TV and the "larger one" was the smallest TV I've seen in 20 years. Plus, it was not cable, just Roku. Couldn't watch local news. Missed the volcano eruption.Walked around the house twice looking for green door. Scrolled down some on my laptop and went in through garage door and there it was. Letter was not wrong, just out of order. When told not to push on gate, assumed it was electric and that meant not to force it. Again, not incorrect, just a little misleading because you do have to push it open, just not like a hinged gate.If I exhaust trips to all the other islands, I would stay here again.The pool was awesome and there was something oddly satisfying about swimming under the bridge.The kitchen had enough hardware to cook a meal in different pots every night for a month. Lots of cutlery and glasses and dishes."

"Wonderful, beautiful property! A fun experience staying at a “group” house and talking to the other travelers. My kids thought it seemed a little haunted. Haha Especially when the security cameras talked to them out in the yard (it felt like we were being watched a little more than I would expect while we were there, but I don’t really blame them for having security cameras. Overall a nice stay, lots of space in our unit, and well appointed rooms. "

"Such an idyllic place to stay. The cottage was well appointed, the farm was beautiful and it was so peaceful. It was lovely being off the beaten path but still close to Hilo and many sights and activities. Hoping to return to this wonderful place."

"We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole process easy. The river was very nice and we really enjoyed spending time there. One thing to note is that it can be a bit difficult to find after dark, as it’s easy to drive past due to how dark the area is. Also, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is definitely recommended since the road is not paved. It was an easy drive in a Jeep, but lower-clearance vehicles may have some difficulty. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back."
