"The water in the shower was cold two days and scorching hot one day and the temperature could not be adjusted. We tried to make changes to our reservation at the desk, but had to call the central booking number. So that was a bit inconvenient but they did let us use their hotel phone.
Convenient access to the train station to travel to London. The breakfast was expensive so we didn't buy it.
They said that the wifi was free in the lobby but it was dreadfully slow. We eventually tried the free...
"Room was very small and over crowded with two twins and a double. Fire alarm went off at 9am, no apologies or explanation on the reason. When we were finally allowed to return to our room the lifts did not work, when we made it to the room the key card didn’t work so had to go back down to reception. Again no apologies made. "
"Wonderful refurbishment of the well located pub/ hotel. Great service, friendly staff, lovely recent interior design, great food, comfortable beds & sheets and nice welcome touches. Worth 5 stars for quality, value for money and everything,"
"The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again."
