"Old and not maintained very well"

"Very nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice swimming pool. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights, and the hotel is not cheap, so I was taken a little aback that there as no.maid service on Sunday - no new towels and such. We wanted coffee pods for the next morning, and that took us a while to hunt down. Other than that, a great base for exploring Fort Ticonderoga!"

"It wasn't clear to me upon booking that there are two separate buildings. The one where I stayed is a lovely old house, and very comfortable. However, the noise from traffic on the busy street made sleeping in past 6 am a challenge. The breakfast is a short walk up the hill to the main hotel property. Breakfast was wonderul."

"Hard to get in touch with anyone late at night. Place is old and we wetter afraid things might break. Overall clean. No service between days."

"La chambre était relativement propre et la femme de ménage est passée tous les jours pour faire la chambre (changer les serviettes, faire le lit, etc.). Tout était bien de ce côté-là. Nous n'avions toutefois aucun moyen de refuser ce service, car il n'y avait pas d'affichette "Ne pas déranger" dans la chambre. Cependant, il n'y avait aucun moyen de rejoindre quelqu'un. Il n'y avait pas de réception (ou jamais personne n'y était). Je voulais avoir une serviette supplémentaire et ils disaient...
