We have stayed at Star House in the hill country 3 times. Always a relaxing time with the beautiful cabin home and the wrap around porches with stunning hill country views. The owner provides all the needed amenities to make the stay perfect. We will be back.

This house is beautiful, comfortable and super clean. The balconies offer retreats for everyone. Cozy blankets if it is chilly and comfortable seating everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and there are puzzles and games to be found in the beautiful bench. Our bed felt like a hammock and I slept like a log which is rare for me. Can’t say enough good things. Close to activities and far enough away to just rest and break away from crazy.

Getaway with girlfriends, all of us over 65.We do this once a year and had a great time together.So happy with our choice of vacation rental!So much we spent most of our stay enjoying the homes views! We highly recommend it!

We had an incredible experience at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Property is as seen in the property description. The location is not what we expected. It is remote but when outside there is traffic noise from the highway and the view includes a couple of mobile homes. But it worked well for us as we were really just there for the sleeping arrangements and were out of the house during the day.

The house was perfect for my parents and myself. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. I really appreciate the labels for all the switches. Beautiful views but only 10 minutes from town. Will definitely try to stay here again

A great place to just get away. You might want to bring your own wash cloths as they only furnish one per guest and while the patio furniture is very comfortable, the indoor dining is only a bistro table and high bar, both which have bar stools designed for tall people. These two 5'4" ladies needed a stopl to get up on them. them.very comfortable

Mom and I had a wonderful stay at the Star House! It’s a beautiful, clean and private property - we didn’t want to leave! I loved the large wrap-around deck! Easy check-in and great hosts. We couldn’t have had a better stay anywhere else! We hope to return soon.
