"The rental was nice. It was up to date, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The mattresses were softer than we prefer but that’s a personal thing. It had everything we needed including a washer & dryer. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location was perfect for our needs. I look forward to returning on future trips. Thank you!"

"This property is listed as a four star property online and that may have been true in 1990 but the condition of the property now is far from four star. This should be listed as a two star property currently due to the age of everything in the rooms. This hotel is far behind any other properties that I have stayed at in the past five years. If you stay here, be ready to step back into 1990. The most important thing that guests should know is that this hotel is not a four-star property, more like a two star property."

"We stayed 3 nights here for my son’s fishing tournament Feb 2026 and our stay couldn’t have been better! Natalie was one of the only host that would allow our dogs and the fenced in yard was perfect! Everything we needed was available at the house and if we needed anything, she was very responsive! We will stay here every time we have a tournament on Toledo Bend! "

"The house was very clean. The beds were very cozy. The back porch is perfect for grilling and hanging out after a long day of fishing. The onsite ramp and boat house are well built and very convenient (even with the lake being 4 ft low). "
