What a wonderful stay we had at this amazingly beautiful house. The location was perfect with the beach just across the street as well as close to the church and reception for our Granddaughters wedding. We found it super clean and very well appointed with anything and everything we could possibly need during our stay. Our hosts were speedy with communication back and forth. Definitely glad we stayed there.

Lovely House by the Beach

This is our second time staying at Mike and Stacy's beach house in West Haven and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The property is lovely with a delightful backyard for a BBQ / fire pit, but the true delight is being just a stone's throw from the beach. All necessary accommodations were provided to ensure this was another delightful visit.

This house was clean, great location and advertised. The only issue in my opinion was the sheets and towels were old and dirty. They need to be replaced. If you pay this much for a home you should have clean linens and more than one per person. Just and observation.

The house was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of space for everyone and the accoutrements were perfect for our family. There were chairs and toys for the grandchildren and most importantly, the bed in the master was wonderful Can’t say enough about this property. Perfect Vacation Spot

This home is beautiful and looks directly out to the water. We were 8 women celebrating our 70th birthday and the house couldn't have beem more suitable for us. Lots of open spaces and seating areas. After it stopped raining it was nice to be able to just cross the street and go for a walk on the beach. There were some many good restaurants and things to do in the area for our long weekend. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place, and Staci and Mike were great hosts.

Beautiful stay

The home is spacious, up to date, clean and child friendly (equipped with both indoor and outdoor toys). The beach is a very short walk and never busy. Some spots are pretty rocky but there are areas that aren’t and the kids did fine with water shoes until they were settled. Household item wise, we had everything we needed and then some. The owner communicated well and was a pleasure to book with, we’ll definitely keep this property on our list for potential trips each summer!

Beautiful house in magnificent location

We were in town to celebrate my son's college graduation, and stayed at this beautiful home about 30 minutes from Quinnipiac University. The house was very clean and the check in process was smooth. Stacie was extremely responsive to our inquiries, despite being on vacation in a different time zone. The sitting room area overlooked the Long Island sound, and the master bedroom and kitchen also had beautiful views. The house was stocked with some board games, and also outdoor games (Spikeball, KanJam, etc.) The beds were extremely comfortable as well! The weather wasn't cooperative, so we didn't get to visit the beach that was down the street, but I highly recommend this house and hope to stay here again in the future.

Exactly as advertised

Sometimes you stay somewhere and the actual accomodations don't live up to the pictures online. Not the case here. This property is every bit as nice and clean as the photos make it appear. The downstairs is a very spacious, open layout. From the kitchen you can see all the way to the front windows. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Upstairs bathroom is large. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Seriously, no one in our party had a single complaint. Didn't need to contact Mike and Stacie for any issues but exchanged a few updates with each other and never had a problem reaching them. I recommend this property very highly. You will not be disappointed.

The spacious kitchen and living room made it easy for our family to spread out and be comfortable during what turned out to be a rainy long weekend. The house is clean and includes a lot of updated appliances and home goods.It is located right across the street from the beach and very close to a lovely paved path that runs along the coast. The hosts are very organized and good communicators. I would recommend this home to any family looking for a lot of space and a convenient location in Connecticut.

We can to town for our daughters graduation from New Haven! This place was the perfect location and distance from everything we wanted to do! Sad we could only stay for 2 days but definitely enjoyed the house! We travel a lot and this was the most inviting and well stocked place we’ve ever visited! We made all of our meals at the house for the weekend and the kitchen had everything we could have needed and more! 5 stars for sure!

Perfect respite for graduation weekend

We rented this lovely home to serve as our base while attending our son’s Yale graduation weekend. It was the perfect spot for our family of five, aged 17-86, to get ready for multiple events and unwind afterwards. About a 10-15 minute drive from campus, with grocery stores and restaurants near by. While we didn’t have much down time to enjoy the beautiful location, we would love to return and do so. The beach and park nearby looked lovely and we could tell there was a lot to do. The home itself was immaculate and had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you need a base for visiting Yale or if you just want a peaceful, beautiful place to relax and be with family and friends.
