"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Like an old fashioned motor inn that was updated, clean, and comfortable. I liked being able to park right outside the door. The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bedding and decor made it feel like I was staying at a friend’s house and not a plain hotel room. I would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was good but make sure you check your emails and messages when you have cell service if you are traveling. Wellman is a dead spot for Verizon. We had to drive back to Kalona to good enough service to access our messages."
