The South West Coast Path is one of the great walks of the UK. Stretching for 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset.

Each day provides you with beautiful views of the Cornish coast. Few people can give up enough time to walk the whole thing, but a weekend on any section is well worth the hassle of making it to the South West.

#beach Access by boat or by steep steps down the cliff, from the coast path. Near Combe Martin. Very peaceful late afternoon as the tide went out.

At high tide the little island at the centre of the picture is separated from the cliffs by a narrow channel of water that's passable in kayaks. At low tide a sandbank/beach is revealed giving great views of Little Hangman.

Watermouth Castle More a modern folly than ancient castle, with private apartments to let at the rear, and a children's funpark.
