The staff were polite but..I waited an hour for towels that never came. I called again, was told they would be right up, nope. No elevator to the roof where the pool is. I have no idea how someone in a wheelchair could get to the pool and bar. STUPIDLY, that is the only place you can use the $29 drink credit. The worst thing is the pump bottles of soap etc. It all smelled horrible, I swear like a cross between jet fuel fumes and that shampoo your kid has to use if the school said there was a lice infestation. I kid not. Disgusting. I requested bar soap, nada. The "King premium" room/bed? You had to press a button to retract the bed to allow 2 people to squeeze by. You can't open the windows for a crack of fresh air, the "contemporary" lighting pad is a pain/not intuitive. I don't want to learn a "new" way to turn on a light at $250/night. The walls are paper thin and I had to cover my ears or gag on hearing the neighbor clear his throat etc. - gross. We asked to use the chintzy $10/coupon towards breakfast on our last day and was told by management, sorry, you aren't paying the "35$ resort fee today so, you can't use it.". REALLY? We stayed 4 nights, never used it - and I thought it was really tacky and short sighted to not be more gracious and classy. What is the point of management on sight if they don't work with the guests instead recite a stupid use it or lose it policy? Housekeeping was very warm and generous, BUT we won't be back and won't stay at another Yotel.
