We loved our stay at the Poppy. A family of 4, we booked the Poppy suite and had more than enough room for 2 adults, 2 teens and all of our luggage. The teens loved the complimentary drinks and snack bar, which was always stocked with juices and fresh fruit. The outdoor area was beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse to anyone travelling to DC.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! The room was well maintained and adorable. It has a European vibe and everything you need is provided. The location is fantastic and easy walk to anything you need. The gardens are so cute and hard to believe you are right in the middle of Georgetown. The property is so clean and well maintained. I definitely pan to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Located in a beautiful neighborhood and very walkable to all main streets of Georgetown. The room was cozy and clean and the perfect size for a couples weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options were also yummy.

Love the vibe of the hotel and location. 2 of the 3 hostesses were great. One acted like it was a bother to ask questions and ignored customers in the morning. Room a little run down. Wall paper torn everywhere, trim popping up and warled, bed was very lumpy, worn in, and uncomfortable. Really, I’d give it a 3.5, but bumped to 4.

Great experience — loved the location and decor and service!! The only thing that might be improved is the wall paint. It was scuffed . Otherwise perfect. :))

Fantastic location, property amenities (small details including snacks/treats, games, coffee/juices, etc.), appearance, vibe — felt cozy and welcoming! Would highly recommend!
