We stayed in the budget 2 bedroom self contained cottage and although old it was the perfect choice for us and excellent value for money. I thought we would be really cold but there were heaps of blankets and more than enough heaters to go round. Great spot to set yourself up in for access to Cardrona and the Snow Farm. "I liked how it was close to everything in town, just walk out onto the street. It is very convenient with a resturant and everything I needed. There is also a postshop in walking distance. You don’t have to walk far for walking tracks."
"Room was very comfortable and warm on arrival. It was difficult to maintain the warmth however as the heatpump went off on a very cool night, Warm again in the morning. Very clean and lovely staff. Thank you for a lovely stay."
"Bridget, the motel manager, was lovely—she called ahead to check our arrival time and made sure everything was perfect with the room. The place has been nicely renovated. We drove, so we’re not sure about nearby facilities, but Wanaka is absolutely beautiful.

"What a gem! We loved the heated pool & hot tub & slide. We used them each night in winter! We could walk to the Wanaka tree & the lakes edge. Town was a little bit farther, so we took the car, but it is walkable if it was a little warmer. Our family appreciates 2 bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent a day skiing at Cardrona and the drive was easy. I highly recommend this property! "
