"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. "The place was cheap, but I would say bad value for money for a number of reasons, outlined belowBad - black mould on bedroom curtains- Black mould in the bathroom- Loose wooden planks in the bathroom- Lots of Cobwebs in every room and in the cupboards, even immediately after checking in- Cabinet in bathroom was loose- Not enough toilet roll- No salt and pepper in the salt and pepper shakers- No bar or shop on site, despite this being advertised- No member of staff seen on site- Very poor...

"We had a wonderful 60th party with friends and family. The house was perfect for 3 nights and accommodated 26 of us really well. The kitchen was very well equipped and we managed to cook several meals without a problem. Located just outside Padstow we had plenty to keep us amused. Would definately recommend for a large group."

"We had a great week here, great location for exploring Rock, local beaches Daymer and Polzeath and only 30 mins from 7 bays beaches. House was well equipped and we absolutely loved being able to start each day in the hot tub. Beds were comfy and rooms a good size. Would recommend staying here. "
