"Loved the hotel, we were there for one night, check in was extremely smooth, the room was very pretty – loved the complimentary sherry and fruit in the room, and we had a wonderful view of the sea. "Great location, beautiful sea view. Quiet place. Good breakfast and great a’ la carte menu, we had crayfish. Oysters and sushi just top. Staff took us on bird watching sail trip to Berg river. Can recommend. Spa should be upgraded (staff & ambience). Drinks at Oysterbar need improvement. We had a great stay. Thank you. "

Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. The big let down was the poor shower and dated bathroom. But it’s one of those hotels that you just want to to do better "
