"excellent free breakfast. Great location in central old town. Safe with super nearby outdoor dining options. We couldn't find the fee parking and used the Duomo underground lot. $25 but v convenient. When we eventually found the free parking, realized it would have been v long steep uphill walk. Convenient overnight en route from Cinque Terre to Siena"

"良い点/ ・静かなロケーション ・歴史を感じる建築 ・個性的で快適な部屋 ・スタンドがあるデスク 改善点/ ・シャワーコーナーの水漏れ"

"An Incredible Stay in the Heart of Tuscany! Our stay at Villa Rioddi was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived! The welcome was exceptional, and the staff took the time to explain the best things to do in Tuscany and Volterra, with fantastic recommendations and clear directions. They even explained exactly where to park, and the free, secure parking included with our stay was a huge plus. Everything we asked for was handled promptly and with genuine kindness. The breakfast was...

"The property is in a great location and the rooms are excellent. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is our second time staying here and both experiences were wonderful."

"I will start by saying that we will be back to Villa Nencini next year, and for a full week's stay. Does that tell you something? The location is perfect for the walking trips; the owners/managers are on site; the grandfather is the chef, taking time to hunt the boar and deer for the larder! The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with marvelous views over the ancient Etruscan walls, down the Cessine valley to the Tyreenean Sea. Breakfast and dinner are in what was once the Villa's stable, now...

"Perfect location for Volterra, great views, super friendly hosts & great rooms"

"Super freundliches und nettes Personal. Zimmer funktional und in Ordnung. Es wird oft über das tolle Frühstücksbuffet geschrieben. Dies ist leider nicht gut. Hatte mich auf ein tolles italienisches Frühstückbuffet gefreut. Es gab ein Saft, ein Croissant und nen Kaffee fertig. Kein Buffet und keine schöne Auswahl."

"Il Palagetto Agrihotel is a beautiful and peaceful countryside property with wide panoramic views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the location made it easy to explore nearby Tuscan towns while enjoying the quiet of the hills. What truly stood out was the exceptional support from Giulia. We had unexpected car troubles, and she went above and beyond — allowing us to keep the car safely at the hotel for three days until it was towed, coordinating...

"Wir haben schon öfters hier übernachtet. Die Atmosphäre ist toll, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten vor Ort und man kann zu Fuß in ca. 10 Minuten in das Stadtzentrum gehen."

"Lovely stay at a little gem in Volterra. Enrico the owner has created a great concept with different apartments around the city and the restaurant is serving delicious local plant based food. Don’t miss the cheesecake ❤️"

"Decent, but bed was bad and place was very damp"

"We've had a wonderful stay for a week at Villa Opera with 2 children. The building is a traditional farm house with thick walls and shutters which helped in the scorching heat. There was no AC but we had fans which was ok and expected with an old building. The landscape was amazing and we've watched many amazing sunsets in the garden. There is a pool with was perfect in the heat. It needs a little maintenance and the sunbeams and parasols were good but in need of a little TLC. The property is 5...

"We stayed for a family wedding, had an amazing time!"

"I made a horrible mistake and booked thr wrong dates because i had a hole in my macular and could not see well. After my surgery and recovery which was around 1 month I realized the horrible mistake. They refused to give credit and charged room fees as well as over $600 in taxes for a room that was not occupied by me."

"Absolutely lovely hotel. Best one we stayed at in Italy - in retrospect, we wish we booked to stay here a second night. The location is quiet and isolated so stars are visible at night, plenty of parking, and breakfast is worth the 20 EURS, best breakfast options we had during our stay. Highly recommend, 10/10."

"The greatest place, and awesome location. The people who run the hotel super kind, welcoming and oh so helpful. San Gimignano just minutes from the hotel and a beautiful place. Can’t recommend it enough, really loved it."

"Staff see lovely, but a bit stretched. The view was just beautiful. We enjoyed using the social spaces, including the pool bar, the games (chess and backgammon) room. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the restaurant in the evening was great bu pricey."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views. It’s a 30 minute walk into San Gimignano. A taxi, IF you can get one costs €30 during the day and €60 after 8. It would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service but it doesn’t. The hotel is part way through a refurbishment, some rooms are still to be upgraded. Our room had a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. The Spa is only one in the afternoon. Front desk staff were very good, restaurant staff less so. The restaurant is...

"Rooms were nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. The grounds overall are well maintained. Breakfast was excellent."
