An excellent clean, quiet and well-maintaine hotel

We found the hotel very cossey with excellent service and friendly staff. Very spacious and very well-maintained room and bathroom. Excellent restaurants nearby. A parking in the hotel (under) very important. Central however very quiet. Very good and well-maintained pool. An excellent hotel.

The hotel is good and our stay was pleasant. For the price of it though, I would definitely expect a better breakfast. The road to get to the hotel is a tiny/tight street with big stones that is unsafe. We parked the car and didn't want to move it again because it was scary. They really need to put a traffic light or offer help from the hotel.

L'hotel è veramente bello ma in una posizione assurda... C'è una stradina tutta ciottolosa e sconnessa stretta che ci passa una macchina soltanto. Per le moto è pericolosa e a rischio caduta ... Abbiamo pertanto cambiato ad albergo con uno con un parcheggio più decente. Quando abbiamo comunicato la nostra intenzione di dover cambiare ci è stato proposto di lasciare la moto sulla strada principale e venire in hotel a piedi.... Cosa impensabile!!!!!!

I liked the location, beautiful area, but the inside of the room didn’t give me the feeling of an old historic building; decorated more in the modern side. The taxi drivers were refusing to take us to the hotel from the port which was something very inconvenient. The driver that picked us up from where the taxi left us was very helpful, but the staff otherwise not very friendly.

Beautiful historical building. Super-friendly staff. However, the room was tiny composed of a lower level tiny living room with ac and an upper level bedroom with no ac. Was pretty hot upstairs even with ac running 24/7. Pricey.

Our stay in Despotiko hotel

We loved Despotiko hotel, the area was lovely , the room was cozy, and the breakfast was nice. The only thing we didn’t liked was the bed that was a bit sinking.

Really impressed with this hotel! All covid precautions in place and being adhered to. Collection of three/four buildings set around a stunning courtyard, all of which has been slowly transferred into a hotel over time. All uniquely designed rooms, ours was contemporary but suited the property well. Fireplace in situ for cold nights, great bathroom, super comfy bed. Excellent pool area. Breakfast very busy on Sunday but food was super for this type of boutique establishment. Found the staff to be incredibly warm and friendly. Would come here again without a doubt. Free Parking in a secure underground car park, a huge bonus too!!

Lovely 3 days of relaxation

Lovely hotel, great staff with a really welcoming approach. We loved the area, the village was small with a few really good places to eat. The hotel had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was good although the coffee was a bit of a miss or hit. My only (minor) criticism, is that access by car is very tight, we ended up leaving ours in the village car park, which was not a problem but meant you had a hilly 10 minute walk.
