"The location was ideal as it was only a 20 minute walk to Broadway. I was a little annoyed by the construction crew across the street as they started working every day 6am. It wasn't loud but I did hear them. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting activities."

"The staff were excellent - one small thing is that you have to request cleaning, which I didn't realize. I was really just looking for fresh towels. I was able to easily do so, but the cleaning staff came very early in the morning (waking us up), and when asked to come back later, they sadly never returned. That being said, the front counter staff were happy to provide fresh towels and anything else we needed. It's a smaller hotel and a lot of places are moving away from traditional models, so you have to grab ice from the main lobby, and there isn't any free breakfast included. Neither of these are big deals. The cafe downstairs has incredible food and a really cool bar. The coffee we ordered was made fresh in front of us and was delicious. Cost was equivalent to Starbucks (in American $). For my Canadian friends, the cost conversion to Canadian $ hurts - but this is not the hotel's fault! I'd come back in a heartbeat. Loved the vibe of the hotel and how easy everything was. The staff and even other guests were friendly, and the space felt inclusive to all. The whole design of the hotel feels very art deco - it's honestly gorgeous. You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into it. Big shoutout to Amari - she was lovely! Gave some incredible local food recommendations and was super plesant to chat with. Made my day!"

"This is a cool hotel with serviceable but very cheerfully decorated rooms and lots of very convenient aspects. If you don't like dealing with other human beings, it's perfect. But if you like a personal touch, you might be weirded out by the AI-like system where you text your issues to a number that responds very quickly and is very friendly. But not necessarily human. ;). Maybe this is the wave of the future. Anyway it's a great concept and it worked very well for us -- especially considering the affordable rates!"

"I will say that the place was nice, but it was WAY overpriced for what it was. There really wasn’t anything special about it. The room was large, which was nice, but overall, I definitely expected more for **$230 a night**. Check-in isn’t until **4:00 PM**, and you have to be out by **11:00 AM**. We arrived early, and there was no one there to speak with about possibly getting into the room early. I even texted the number they provided and never received a response. Then there was the parking pass. 😂 They give you a laminated piece of paper, probably about 8.5 x 3 inches, to put in your window. On the back, it tells you that it has to be returned to the room when you leave. And the best part? If you don’t return it, they charge you **$100**. Yes… $100 for a laminated piece of paper. For $230, a 4:00 PM check-in, an 11:00 AM check-out, no one available to speak with, and a potential $100 charge for a laminated parking pass, I just don’t see the value. It was nice and the room was spacious, but definitely not worth what we paid."
