Suzel's apartment provided that with a Lidl almost next door and an Intermarché Hypermarché a short drive. The kitchen diner was well equipped and I appreciated the gas hob. Bedroom was a good size and the plant life outside helped keep the apartment cooler with outside temperatures in the 30's. Suzel's a very pleasant lady. "Excellent hotel perfectly located in Saumur. Lovely rooms facing either the chateau or the river - recommend facing the river - that are all well appointed with great AC. There is a nice outdoor pool to cool down, and the bar and courtyard area make for a great place to have a drink. Breakfast is very good and finally the service is excellent throughout!"
