"Our room was missing a desk chair. The staff tried to be as helpful as possible considering the fact that they did not have a chair they could put in there due to needed repairs. The other chairs were all in rooms which were booked... We have stayed at this hotel twice this year, and both times there were issues with ceiling fan noises in the bathrooms even when they were turned off. We were in different parts of the hotel each time. The noises were random and required us to keep the bathroom door closed so we could sleep. The particular night we were there this last time involved people returning from an evening out at 3 in the morning and speaking very loudly as they went down the hallway. Yet, the hotel itself was a typical Holiday Inn Express with very comfortable beds and clean and accessible public areas. The staff was kind and courteous."

"This property is beautiful. Lots of room for a big family. We stayed with our parents and adult children and grandchildren. The porches were such a nice place to sit and visit. We also loved all the open space. Rooms were set up nicely with options for kids. The dirt road to the property was walkable/joggable and there were a lot of deer on early mornings. Easy drive into Topeka or Lawrence. Also, we were able to get a Walmart delivery even though it’s just outside of town. Lastly, the host was so kind and responsive!! We definitely recommend the property for large families or a few couples visiting the area!"

"The place was perfect for an overnight stay after a wedding we attended. It was easy to find, easy to access, and was clean and cozy! Communication with the host was quick and easy. The stay was great and we would stay again!"
