Family Beach Getaway

Perfect for a family vacation

We were 4 adults and 4 children ages 2-5. We cooked regularly, the kitchen is well equipped, and the house was well outfitted with toys/boogie boards/towels. Dawn was responsive to our requests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well laid out for our family of 3 couples. It was clean, very well stocked and very well located. Being able to walk to the beach barefoot - as it was onlyl a few yards away - was a real treat. And the beach there is beautiful!

Excellent stay!

We truly enjoyed this stay for our family Thanksgiving. The hospitality was warm and everything felt complete. They spare no detail! It’s a beautiful home and very spacious for a family to spread out. The beach nearby is serene and beautiful. We rank it a 10/10 recommend!

Perfect spot for a reunion of close friends.

The house has everything you could need for a beach vacation (i.e. beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower). The kitchen is beautiful with excellent appliances and all the cooking and dining supplies you need for cooking and dining in. And the outside decks are great for early morning coffee to late evening dinner or just lounging around!

Great Place To Stay

We would highly recommend this property. It was very clean….. it may have been the cleanest property we have ever rented. The description and pictures are very accurate. The walk to the beach is only 100 steps and the beach is very nice and private. The location is just a short drive from the main part of vero beach where there are great shops and restaurants. Dawn was an excellent host. Very responsive and professional.

A very Merry Christmas!!!!

Our son is at flight school in Vero Beach so we decided to bring Christmas to him since we live in NY and he couldn't get the time off. This house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space to chill and relax. They even put up a Christmas tree for us. Easy walk to beach, great location on the island; as we don't want to be in the thick of things. Peaceful and tranquil. House was very well equipped and the owners were great to work with! If we couldn't be in our home for Christmas; this was the next best place to be!

Wonderful home base for family to gather

Half our family stayed at the Disney property and half stayed at the house over Christmas. It was wonderful to have a large, stocked kitchen for the larger family holiday meal. And the spaces made it nice for the kids to branch off from adults. We found the shuffle board table to be a real treat. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and it was a great walk to/from Disney. This was a great home with plenty of room for everyone. Just need to use the upstairs space as a typical living room.

Right Time, Right Place

Due to a family emergency we need a place for several family members on short notice and Dawns place did not disappoint. Dawns place was immaculate and suited our family perfectly. She was amazing to work with, communication was immediate and quick. The location couldn't have been better. Close to the beach and downtown Vero but quiet and peaceful. A perfect getaway

This property was perfect for a family wedding on John’s Island. We were only four miles from the festivities with an easy drive on A1A. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean! The beach is a walk through a short path, and Dawn provided beach chairs, towels, sand toys, sunscreen and even hats and beach bags. The kids with us were entertained the whole time. There was a Publix grocery store nearby with a liquor store handy! Fully equipped and very comfortable, perfect for an extended family. Don’t hesitate, this home is a gem.

Thoroughly enjoyed our extended vacation here! We've been vacationing in Florida for over a decade. We have never stayed in the same home twice, mainly because of cleanliness. We have already booked this home for next year. You could have eaten off the floors in this home it was so clean. We walked in unpacked and started enjoying our vacation. Historically we have had to clean before unpacking. Everything was perfect!

DON'T MISS THE SUNRISE

Great manager....we contacted Dawn a few days before our trip which we booked 6 months in advance and were rewarded with a prompt response. She checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything during our stay. The house is absolutely amazing. Believe everything you see and read about this property in the listing. Perfect Paradise HideAway!

We spent a long weekend at Hero’s HideAway and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about this completely updated property was perfect, down to each precise detail. Five adults, two kids under the age of 4 - we had so much room to spread out and enjoy. All amenities are there, including sturdy travel crib and safety gates for top and bottom of stairs. We had so much fun playing table shuffleboard and sitting on the upstairs desk stargazing. The private immaculate beach is really 100 steps away. And the kitchen is gorgeous with everything we needed. We highly recommend this beautiful home for your family vacation - and fully intend to come back as soon as we can!

This place was beyond incredible

The host made this experience great with all her thoughtful touches. She had beach toys, chairs, even sunscreen ready. Basic food items and coffee where ready for us as well. The house is right off the beach. 100 steps is accurate. Private beach and parking for 2-3 cars at the house. The master suite is amazing and there are two other rooms suitable for adults. Kids rooms are perfect. We had a place for everyone with 9 people, 4 adults and 5 teen- young adults. There was lots of common areas for games and conversation. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
