Excellent hotel, staff were great. Very friendly and offered recommendations for food and sightseeing. Room was very good, breakfast highly recommended!
The hotel is beautiful and so quiet. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and nice. The breakfast was perfect. Our stay in Venice was a success due to this hotel. The air conditioning was superb. We would love to go back again.
Good hotel …solid location, friendly staff , good breakfast. TV was not operational …which was a minor issue but you don’t come to Venice to watch TV …unless it’s raining
Lovely Place ! The room and Breakfast are very nice, but the location is kind far from the station, you should take the water taxi to go over there. Apart from this, Everything is very well.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Lovely room overlooking the canal; friendly and helpful front desk staff. They gave fantastic restaurant recommendations. The hotel breakfast, however, was a disappointment - over-hyped poor quality food (there was egg shell in my frittata on the second day - when I pointed this out to the wait staff, she had no reaction). Needs improvement.
We flew in from London and because of a delay arrived late in the evening. Luca arranged sandwiches for us upon arrival as many restaurants close at 11pm and we were looking to have a bit. He also followed up with with some great recommendations for food and drink. We heard breakfast was amazing and didn’t disappoint. A nice blend of local and classic breakfast fare. The plaza where the hotel is situated was also a nice reprieve from the standard hustle and bustle of Venice and very close to all the great spots.
We loved everything about Palazzo Maria Formosa.
The hotel is beautiful with so much history. Quirky in places which adds to the charm and tells a story.
Staff are brilliant. Very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble.
Our room was gorgeous and with a view of the square.
They have their own dock for the taxi to drop and pick you up.
Breakfast is great. It’s is Al a Carte and they will make you almost anything you fancy.
Will we be back? Most definitely.
It’s a special place. Thank you for making our trip special.
The property is new and well designed. The breakfast is on the highest level i have experienced. The staff go beyond their call of duty and make everything possible. Cocktails at the bar with the chief bar tender is a must.
I do not recommend staying at this hotel or booking through hotels.com.
During my stay, I couldn't even sleep due to intermittent fire alarms from 4:00 to 6:00 in the morning.
The compensation they offered me did not satisfy me and they refused to refund me because I booked through hotels.com.
I asked hotels.com to respond to that, but they just evaded the story and did not respond in good faith.
I never thought I would regret staying at a five-star hotel so much. .
